DEER HUNTING
Basic Instincts has exclusive hunting rights to a number of top hunting locations in New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty region. We offer Red deer as well as Fallow deer hunts – from Meat hunting to Trophy hunting.
Specifically designed hunting packages allow us to cater for every need – from the guy who just got his first rifle, to the experienced hunter. From freedom hunts to guided hunts and professional training, our prices as well as our locations mean we can cover every need – including guaranteed venison.
PIG HUNTING
We offer Pig hunts in a number of locations in the region. Guided hunts using our dogs, or freedom hunts using your dogs – we can cater for your needs. For those who have a new dog requiring experience, we can tailor a hunt to put you and your dog on the animal – kick starting your pig hunting career. Knowing the “hot spots” allows us to cut down on what otherwise could mean too much time and frustration for you. As with Deer stalking – success can be assured.
GOAT HUNTING
We have exclusive blocks in the Central North Island which provide excellent goat hunting – ideal for trophy hunting, those wanting to stock their freezers, or for a good day out with a few mates.
SMALL GAME: POSSUMS, RABBITS, TURKEY & CLAY SHOOTING
Great fun can be had on a small game hunt, offering variety toyour hunting tour and valuable shooting practice for beginner hunters.
PHEASANT and DUCK SHOOTING
The first weekend of May signals the beginning of the bird hunting season with
particular emphasis on Pheasants and Ducks. New Zealand offers a fantastic diversity of habitat and terrain that provide for a stunning outdoor experience. We have experienced guides waiting to take you out and show you the best spots in the country and providing fantastic hospitality and a quality service.
PACKAGES & SPECIAL OCCASIONS
We
specialise in designing packages to suit your interests, target species, and time available. Tours can incorporate a number of different species, hunting locations, and fishing options for you and your guests. A hunting tour is a great gift idea for birthdays, stag parties, and other special occaisions.
SPECIAL DEALS
We are happy to set up special hunts and we offer discounts for more than one hunter, and special rates for the kids. If you are under 16, we want to see you in the bush, learning the skills of hunting and providing – so we discount your costs if you come with Dad [or an adult] for a hunt.
Extended hunting trips can be arranged, with Helicopter access to remote and beautiful locations. Dont be afraid to ask – we will cater for every need. We also specialise in Packages for the ROAR.
