Red Deer
Red Deer originated from some of the most prestigious game parks in the United Kingdom and are now widely distributed throughout New Zealand. The characteristics of the animals stayed within the regions of which they were introduced. EG: Animals sourced from Scotland can still be recognized in the Otago region which is where they were first introduced. However over time the purity of the lines are becoming diluted.
These species provide a challenge to hunt due mainly to the few restrictions placed on hunters. In the wild. the animal is under hunting pressure and therefore make themselves scarce. Having exclusive rights to hunt our locations means your chances of success are very high.
